Identification Project

Overview

The identification and documentation of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) resonate with one of our seven thematic work areas for 2016, to facilitate Societal Integration for internally displaced persons. Since the identification exercise for IDPs began as far back as October 2015, it has recorded immense success in profiling and identification of IDPs.

Life Builders Initiative for Education and Societal Integration, in partnership with National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) and the National Commission For Refugees Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI), had embarked on the registration and profiling of the IDPs within and around the FCT. No fewer than 20,000 IDPs had, so far, have been registered.
